Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Filling
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, melted butter, and salt. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Make the Filling
  1. In another bowl, combine blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir gently to coat the blueberries.
  2. Spread the blueberry mixture over the crust in the baking pan.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, flour, softened butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  2. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the blueberries.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes
