  • 1 box vanilla cake mix 15.25 oz
  • 3 large eggs
Filling
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce divided
Coating
  • 8 oz melting chocolate or candy melts
  • Sprinkles optional

Baking and Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan and mix the cake mix with eggs according to package instructions. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Cool the cake completely on a wire rack, then crumble it into fine pieces.
  3. Combine crumbled cake with diced apples and half of the caramel sauce until well mixed.
  4. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for about an hour until firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate coating as per package instructions. Dip each chilled ball into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing them back on parchment.
  6. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over each pop and add sprinkles if desired.
