Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs hard boiled
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons green onions or chives chopped
  • 4 slices olives

Method
 

  1. Hard boil the eggs, then cool them under cold water. Peel and slice in half lengthwise.
  2. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  4. Sprinkle paprika on top for color.
  5. Use the chopped green onions or chives to create the chicks' feathers, and place the olive slices for eyes.
