Ingredients
  

Fruit Base
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, or peaches) washed and hulled if necessary
Sugar Mixture
  • 1 cup granulated sugar adjust based on fruit sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 package fruit pectin (such as Sure-Jell) follow package instructions for freezer jam

Method
 

Prepare the Fruit
  1. Mash the fresh fruit in a mixing bowl until you reach your desired consistency.
Mix Sugar and Pectin
  1. In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar and fruit pectin.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Add the sugar-pectin mixture to the mashed fruit and stir in the lemon juice. Mix well for about 3 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
Fill Containers
  1. Pour the jam into freezer-safe containers, leaving some space at the top for expansion. Seal tightly.
Freeze
  1. Place the containers in the freezer. The jam will be ready to use after 24 hours.

Notes
