  • 2 large sweet onions sliced
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 3 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese shredded
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme or 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
