Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups shaved ice
  • 1 cup sweetened red beans
  • 1 cup sweetened jackfruit
  • 1 cup sweetened banana
  • 1 cup sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup ube (purple yam) ice cream
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup leche flan optional, for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Gather all the ingredients and prepare them by slicing the fruits and making sure the sweetened ingredients are ready.
Assemble the Halo Halo
  1. In a serving glass, layer the sweetened red beans, jackfruit, banana, and coconut at the bottom.
  2. Add a generous amount of shaved ice on top of the layered ingredients.
  3. Drizzle evaporated milk and condensed milk over the shaved ice.
  4. Top with ube ice cream and leche flan if using.
  5. Serve immediately and mix before eating.
