  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup frosting
  • 12 mini ice cream cones
  • 8 oz chocolate melts
  • sprinkles optional for decoration

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions using eggs and oil. Bake in a greased pan for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl until fine.
  3. Mix in frosting by hand until well combined and dough-like.
  4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and insert into mini ice cream cones.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for an hour to firm up.
  6. Melt chocolate melts according to package instructions. Dip each cone into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Add sprinkles while still wet.
  7. Let set on a plate for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
