  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine or brown rice
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook rice according to package instructions. Rinse under cold water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add sesame oil. Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned (about 5 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, bell peppers, and carrots. Cook until veggies are tender yet vibrant (about 3 minutes).
  5. Spoon rice into bowls and top with the beef mixture. Garnish with chopped green onions.
