Ingredients

Marinade
  • 1 cup olive oil extra virgin
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Method

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
Marinate the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
Grill the Chicken
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serve
  1. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
