Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 12 pieces quail eggs hard-boiled
  • 2 cups mixed greens washed and dried
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cucumber cucumber sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Prepare Quail Eggs
  1. Place quail eggs in a pot of boiling water and cook for 4 minutes. Remove and place in ice water to cool.
  2. Once cooled, peel the quail eggs and set aside.
Assemble Salad
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
  2. Slice the peeled quail eggs in half and add them to the salad.
Make Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Serve
  1. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
