  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional for thickening

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the bell peppers and broccoli, cooking until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the soy sauce and cornstarch (if using) to the skillet, stirring to combine and thicken the sauce if desired.
