Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the dry rub ingredients together.
  3. Rub the mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
Preheat the Pellet Grill
  1. Preheat your pellet grill to 225°F (107°C).
Smoke the Ribs
  1. Place the ribs bone-side down on the grill grates.
  2. Smoke the ribs for 3 hours, maintaining the grill temperature.
Wrap the Ribs
  1. After 3 hours, remove the ribs and wrap them tightly in aluminum foil.
  2. Return the wrapped ribs to the grill and cook for an additional 2 hours.
Glaze and Finish
  1. Unwrap the ribs and brush them with BBQ sauce.
  2. Place the ribs back on the grill for 30 minutes to set the sauce.
  3. Check the internal temperature; it should be at least 190°F (88°C).
Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the grill, let them rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes
