  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced

  • 1 cup water

Prepare the Strawberries
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to macerate.
Blend the Mixture
  1. Transfer the macerated strawberries to a blender. Add water and blend until smooth.
Chill the Mixture
  1. Pour the blended mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Churn the Sorbet
  1. Once the mixture is firm, churn it in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Final Freeze
  1. Transfer the churned sorbet back to the freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours to firm up before serving.
