Ingredients
  

Mushrooms
  • 4 large portabella mushrooms stems removed
Filling
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably Italian seasoned
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the portabella mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Stuffing and Baking
  1. Stuff each portabella mushroom cap with the filling mixture, pressing down gently to pack it in.
  2. Place the stuffed mushrooms in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
